La Saharienne

-After breakfast, departure for the mainland along the Roman road.

-Visit to the ancient grain silos of the nomads of the Médenine region.

-Continuation to Ksar Ghilane, a magnificent oasis with fine sand dunes and a hot spring,

passing through Beni Khdeche.

-On arrival at Ksar Ghilane:

*Bath in the hot spring (32°).

*Optional camel and quad rides over the dunes of the Grand Erg Oriental (to be paid for locally).

-Lunch at ksar ghilane - Departure for Tamazret, a Berber village, coffee break, then on to Matmata.

-Visit to a troglodytic house, an architectural speciality of the region.

-Visit to the famous shooting site of the Star Wars film.

-Return to Djerba through spectacular scenery, with a stop at the Berber village of Toujene.
