The Journey Chronology
From Djerba to Ksar Ghilane
Djerba/Tataouine/ksar ghilane
-Morning departure in the direction of Tataouine with a gourmet break in a local pastry shop to taste the regional speciality: gazelle horns.

-Continue on to Ksar Ouled Soltane, a Berber architectural masterpiece.
Its granaries, stacked in perfect arches, catch the desert light and reflect it in golden hues.
A fortress of stone and sand, this ksar remains one of the best-preserved jewels of southern Tunisia's heritage.
-Drive to Guermessa for lunch.
-Departure for Ksar Ghilane, famous for its natural hot spring and fine sand dunes.
Check-in at the Saharan camp.
-Bathing in the spring (32°), then camel ride included to admire the sunset over the dunes of the Grand Erg
over the dunes of the Grand Erg Oriental.
-Overnight in tents at ksar ghilane.
From Ksar Ghilane to Djerba
ksar ghilane/Matmata/Toujane/Djerba .
-After breakfast, possibility of an excursion on Quad bike across the sandy sea to visit
the Roman fort of ancient Tisavar (optional, to be paid for locally).
-Departure for Tamazret, a Berber village, photo stop and lunch.
-Visit to a trolodyte dwelling in Matmata and the Sidi Idriss hotel, famous location for the film "Star Wars".
Return to Djerba via Toujene, a Berber village clinging to the mountains.
